TO anyone who has contacts in the NY OWS group of Facilitators
We would like to hear from someone who has specific contacts with one of the elected facilitators, and a clear bubble org chart listing group leaders who can be contacted, to establish discourse and create consensus.

The facilitators are not elected. Anyone can be a facilitator. You need only take the training, offered daily, to be eligible to facilitate. If you want to know who they are, I suggest you go to the GA and meet them in person. Or go to the Facilitation working group meeting. They meet every day at 4 at the sculpture of the man sitting with a briefcase on the back end of the park. The best way to create consensus is in person. Go to the GA and present your proposal and people will give you feedback. If they like it, they will pass it. If they don't like it, they will tell you why and then you can rework it and bring it back and try again. This is how one joins a community. You do not make demands, you get to know your fellow activists and ask them what they want. You don't come, fully formed and demand consensus. That is just running your own agenda on us.
So, to summarize, please do bring your proposal to the GA. Tonite, if you want to. Read the entire thing. See if it passes consensus. If it doesn't, stop parading on the internet as representing the NYCGA. You have not passed consensus. This is not representative of the NYCGA.

Karin,
Is there a way to participate in person, or just via the forum? I didn’t see any Declaration working group meetings on this site’s Events calendar.
