Maybe we could run a contest for it, instead of paying a designer, and the prize is we choose their work. Get submittals from all over the country. That said some of the ones here are quite good. But a nationwide logo contest would be another way to get people involved, spread the word.

I think the bell's not great. It never rang true or well...always had a dull sound...plus it's got biblical refs etc.

then choose "Copy Image Location". Come here, then click on the image icon above the text area; it looks like a polaroid of a tree. Ctrl-V (paste) your link there. Click ok, and voila!

Er, WHAT polaroid of a tree? The image choices I see over the text area include:
1. Host an image (icon looks like two overlapped frames).
2. Insert image (icon looks like a single frame).
3. link (insert URL)

Well, I guess I killed the topic with that last post!

I think just doing a quick and dirty poll here on the site to get an interim logo up would be nice.

I just posted this idea in slogans, but will reiterate it here:
What about the Liberty Tree as a symbol?
I think it has potential, particularly if we tie in E Pluribus Unum in some way.
